Sturgeon Bay Utilities Donated $8000 in 2009
In a look back at contributions and donations made last year, Sturgeon Bay Utilities is pleased to report that, with support from power supplier WPPI Energy, it provided financial support totaling $8000 for community causes in 2009.
Since the inception of the community contributions program in 1998, community contributions by WPPI Energy’s member utilities totals more than one million dollars, with more than $248,000 contributed in 2009.
“Sturgeon Bay Utilities is pleased to be able to contribute to worthy local causes through our community contributions program,” said Jim Stawicki, General Manager. “Our membership in WPPI Energy brings several benefits to local residents and businesses, making Sturgeon Bay a great place in which to live and work.”

Sturgeon Bay Utilities community contributions fund was established to promote awareness of Sturgeon Bay’s community-owned utility. Sturgeon Bay Utilities is a member of WPPI Energy, a regional power company serving 51 customer-owned electric utilities.
Sturgeon Bay Utilities is a community-owned utility supplying power to approximately 8900 homes and businesses in Sturgeon Bay and surrounding area.
