Sturgeon Bay is located in northeastern Wisconsin, approximately 50 miles northeast of Green Bay, in the heart of the Door Penninsula. Sturgeon Bay is located directly on the bay of Green Bay and the Lake Michigan shoreline which is just a few miles to the east of the community.
Sturgeon Bay was settled in 1835 and is the Door County seat. The community is proud of its history and has done much to preserve and build on it.
